Photography has been part of my story for as long as I can remember. I have always been drawn to capturing the moments that make life meaningful - the laughter, the connection, and the memories we never want to lose.

The name Josephine Amelia carries a special meaning, honoring the two grandmothers who came before me and reminding me of the importance of preserving the stories we leave behind.

After years of calling Texas home, I began a new chapter and planted roots in Michigan. While my surroundings have changed, my passion for photography remains the same - capturing the genuine moments connections, and stories that make each season of life unforgettable. 

My approach to photography is simple: beautiful images should do more than show what a moment looked like — they should bring you back to how it felt.

Based in Michigan, I photograph weddings, engagements, families, seniors, and life’s unforgettable chapters with a natural and heartfelt approach. I’m joined by a talented second photographer, who brings a thoughtful eye for composition, emotion, and the details that help tell your story from every angle.

Whether we are capturing the beginning of a love story, a growing family, or a milestone moment, my goal is to create photographs that become treasured memories for years to come.
